How to Introduce Kids to Playing Golf

OK – you love to play golf, and you always have, almost always a great time on the golf course. Put yourself in the sun on the beautiful park-like grounds does something for you to remember how life can be fun. She thought about it – it would be great not to share the experience with children? They thought the other, by any five-year high after a shock, the exchange of memories for years to come, after a long journey to the end. You have not yet given, because the ball in all directions, keeping with the band before are worried, and the resultant stress turning your favorite sport in an exercise in discipline and frustration on all sides.

I’m here to tell you that you’re not alone. As a father of three boys (I teach them how to get started golf at 5, 7 and 9 years playing – now they are 17, 19 and 21), and I hesitated, they mean “bring outdoor sanctuary.” I’m glad I’ve tried it, as he led a life of joy for us all, and I’ll share a few tips in the hope that you also give golf a try with your children.

Tip # 1 – Make them good equipment. Junior golf clubs have come a long way since we used cut children’s clubs. There are now even junior hybrid clubs! I was the construction of junior golf clubs for a little over nine years (more than 20,000 clubs in the last census) and the quality and the technology that is available to juniors these days is spectacular!

Tip # 2 – Teach your children the basics of grip, position and swing in the garden or in the house with plastic plastic balls. At this stage there is no need for formal education for children as they go out and have fun need instantly. All they need from you is to show them how their hands are too close to the club room, and how to finesse and speed, rather than as hard as rocks.

Tip 3 – Get the clubs in their hands as much as possible. If there is a practice almost perfect. Try to do as far as possible, and be careful not to sodas or trips to their favorite fast food restaurant then skimp. Or build a couple of cups in the house or yard. Pins and cups are available online at the backyard; Tournaments can also be set with the local children. Our children, and trophies made of cardboard, markers and pieces of wood.

Tip 4 – Contact the local course, the best time for children to discover the games. For your 3 is the absolute best place to children when they are just beginning to take.

Tip # 5 – When you arrive, make sure to give them the following advice: do not walk on the greens knock, not until I tell you, it is to hit OK, not your golf clubs set to green, and last but not least, We are here for fun. If at any time you are not having fun, please let me know and we will go home. Let it be know it’s normal, frustrated, just try again and remind them it took me a while to learn to play around. If they lose interest, to leave immediately, before it gets ugly.

Tip # 6 – Hit retain or not to keep score – up to you. As a coach tee ball, we were told not to hold a door, but many parents do it anyway. It is part of our natural competitive position, “who won.” If you learn to point to, it’s just remember that they are there, not for a good score on each hole. The important thing is that they have fun, learn about the game and want to come back and start again!

Golf with children can cause an explosion or it can be a disaster. Hopefully these tips will help eliminate some of the disaster and replace it with a lot of fun and good times on the track!
